Born in London in 1964, I moved to Sussex at the age of 16 where I trained in Graphic Design which has definitely shaped the way I paint. My first solo exhibition was in 2000 and I now have work in private collections across Europe and in New York.
Dominant themes in my work are movement and light. The local woodlands are a great inspiration to me and I often work in my studio listening to the radio and allowing the ideas to flow as I listen.
Portraying animals is one of my specialities and I accept commissions for animal portraits but will consider most commissions including mural work. The main driving force behind all of my art is simply to make the viewer smile.
I tutor in various styles and media and give demonstrations to societies and groups across the south of England.
